I've been wanting to write this post for some time now. Every time I peak into my comments section, and see all of the love and support from all of you, my heart melts.
I started blogging 5 years ago because I wanted a place to keep my memories from the summer I was about to have. I didn't think it would lead to everything it's become. There are so many perks and benefits that come with blogging, and I love all of them. But none of them are as important to me as having all of you.
I am unbelievably grateful to have an audience that cares about me, and I don't express that gratitude enough — at least not nearly as often as I should. But I'm changing that.
Having this blog means so much to me because it also means that I get my very own community of awesome people who love reading my words, hearing what I have to say, and looking at my pictures.
Having this blog means that I have a safe place where I can spill my thoughts and dreams, and know I won't be judged or questioned because of it. Which means you have a safe place, too.
Having this blog means that I will be able to look back at some of the best (and worst) moments of my life and remember things I would have otherwise forgotten.
Having this blog means that I can come and read through your sweet, uplifting, encouraging, and supportive comments when I'm feeling down, and instantly feel 100000x better.
Having this blog means the world to me, and I'm so thankful to have all of you reading along and keeping up with me.
Thank you so, so, so much.
