Catching Up #020

Catching Up #020

Life is so, so, so great. So much has been happening, and this week is going to be so busy!

It's finally feeling like summer up here in Canada, and we went for our first swim of the year! Since I grew up in Hawaii and was in the water all the time, it's a big deal to me! And it was so much fun being in the water yesterday. I was so happy!

Speaking of Hawaii... We finally booked our trip!! I'm going home to my family for the first time in two years and I'm so excited about it! I cried so much when I finally bought the tickets and it was real. I can't wait to show Jay where I come from, I can't wait for him to meet my family, I can't wait to be in my islands again. I just can't wait. 68 more days (as I write this!)

JAY GRADUATED!!! I'm so proud of him and so excited for what's to come. I remember when we were still long distance, and I was thinking how sad it would be if I weren't able to be there for his graduation - and now we live together!

So much has changed since we've known each other, and I'm so happy that we're able to grow together, achieve together, succeed together, and as I was telling his dad yesterday - I'm happy that we get to fail together too, because we get to do it all together.

I just love him and I'm running out of words to express it.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated our second anniversary and it was the best day ever! Jay surprised me with flowers and dinner and a movie. It was just so nice being able to be with him. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to be in love with my best friend. He's amazing.

This weekend, we celebrated my future in-laws' 25th anniversary! Over 80 people came and we danced and laughed and had lots of fun enjoying each other's company in the sunshine. It was so nice having everyone together celebrating two wonderful people!
