Have you checked out Part 1 of my Florida trip? 😊
During the last few days in Florida, I had to go on a Gator Tour so I went to a place called Camp Holly’s! They had an awesome tiki bar, baby gators on site, and the funniest air boat captains. I had the best time, I highly recommend this place! (And if you do go, order a margarita and tell the bartender I say hi!)
Since I was in Orlando, I had to go to Universal Studios! (I was planning on going to DisneyWorld, but I’ll save that for another time). I’m a huge Simpsons fan, so I loved seeing KrustyLand, and of course the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was a blast!
This also marks the first week of living on the road (and not in an actual “house”). So far, so good! It’s taking some adjustment, but I grew up camping so I love it. The only downside right now is the lack of stable, reliable Wi-Fi, but I’m working around it as best as I can, while still enjoying the outdoors!
I’ve been writing a lot for myself, which I love doing because I love being able to look back at my words and feelings. Being out on the road and away from every day distractions has been a blessing in disguise. However, speaking of blessings, a few days before I hit the road I got some bad news. That morning was rough, but I haven’t been focusing on the negatives of it all – instead, I’ve been seeing it for all that it IS and not what it could have been. I may touch on this later, but for right now I’m keeping this to myself, allowing myself to grow from it, and continuing to seek out the positives in my every day.
Have you ever visited Orlando, Universal Studios, or gone on a gator tour? 😊

You’re giving me Florida envy. I really want to go to the Keys sometime, especially the Hemmingway house. Looks like your adventure is starting off right. Looking forward to your next post. P.S. That red patterned top is so cute! Love it.

It was such a fun trip! I didn’t have time to hit up the Keys, but I hope to return and do the southern part of the state soon! And I got my top from Target! 😊

HI Jasmine. On your comments of stable wifi, have you checked out any mifi routers? Some have petty good good deals for price and bandwidth and you can get from places like amazon. I believe you have to buy a service or sim card for them as well. Not sure how you are traveling and if you are camping primarily without a hotel wifi connection. Also please consider getting VPN to protect yourself if you do use public wifi or even starbucks or other. I tend to use VPN all the time now but since I am in Vietnam, I really want my connection locked down and secure if I am going to do banking or other stuff like that. Here’s some mifi routers that amazon has:

Hey Michael! Yes, I have looked into the mifi packages, but I’m trying to see if I can make do without them. So far, I’ve only been in one place where I was completely without phone service and wifi, but it was a nice detox haha! I’m primarily relying on my cell service, hotspot and local wifi connections.

In Miami we have a place called the miccosukee indian village where they offer boat rides in the Everglades. I’ve had my fair share of rides to go see gators up close and personal. The last time I went there was a gator eating another gator which was dead. It was massive. I’ve been to Disney in 06’ but not Universal, I think I should plan a trip! I’m loving seeing all of your adventures. Can’t wait to see more!!!

Oh my gosh that sounds terrifying!! And yes, girl you need to go back to Disney World AND Universal! There’s so many new things at Disney (I wish I could have gone this time, but I’m saving it for next time!), and Universal is so much fun! You’d love it 😊

Florida is one of my favorite places, so I really enjoyed seeing your adventures! Last year, I was actually able to visit Universal Studios for the first time since the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was added, and it was so amazing. I’m glad you enjoyed your time in Florida!

Believe it or not, I’ve been living in Florida since 1996 – just 15 minutes from the gator place – and I’ve never been there. And, the last time I went to Universal was like 8 years ago. Disney is almost my back yard – 10 minutes away. Glad to see you enjoyed the Orlando area.

Oh my gosh, you have to go! I mean, it was kind of cheesy, BUT I did see 4 gators up close and it was pretty awesome!

I love how you see the positives in the everyday. It’s very inspiring and it can be quite hard to see the positives especially when life can bring you with crazy things.

You’re very welcome! It can be. Things always work out in the end. As I always follow up, is that everything happens for some sort of reason good or bad sort of thing 😊
